We were contacted by Advanced Chemical to come in and evaluate their small warehouse with a low ceiling height of 168” to help optimize their pallet storage.Their storage area was about 50’ wide X 60’ long; which had an In-Plant Office, two (2) large production machines and several other small obstacles to work around.
Upon notes from our meeting and discussions with our engineers, we came up with a combination of 2 and 3 deep Push Back Racking to solve their problem. Part of the design called for mounting the 1st level of Push Back on the floor making it possible to get storage of 3 pallets high based on a pallet that was 48” wide X 48” deep X 42” high with 2,500 lbs. capacity.
We worked closely with the customer during the design phase and brought them to visit another customer’s facility which we had previously installed a Push Back System for so they could personally inspect the system and see how it operated in a working environment.
The Installation of this Push Back Racking System went smoothly and the customer is greatly pleased with the system.
